Blackberry Tutorial: Hidden Dock (no animation)

[Posted 05/12/2010 at 12:01 AM | 16 Comments]

This tutorial is a true hidden dock. I have done other hidden dock tutorials, like the droid dock and the droid dock with buttons. However, this tutorial has no animation at all. It will how and hide your buttons within a second with no customizing of the SVG required! This is one of the easiest tutorials to do.

Why do it

That really depends if you want a fancy dock for your Blackberry theme for not. This tutorial will teach you how to make a hidden dock with no animation at all. It shows and hides the buttons as soon as you press the button.

Please Note

You have to download the Blackberry Theme Builder tools onto your computer.
This tutorial will be using Composer and Theme Builder.

I do not have a tutorial, but you should be able to see it rather quickly in Theme Builder.

when you are on Theme the Home Screen, you will see a line for Navigation. Click that box and the navigation section will drop down.  (quote this comment)
